JBGC – Growing Together and Giving Back
Since 1950, the Jensen Beach Garden Club has brought together gardening enthusiasts, fostered friendships and promoted a love of horticulture. Our mission is to share gardening knowledge, enhance our community through beautification projects and educate members and the public. With over 100 members, from master gardeners to beginners, we enjoy learning, growing and making a difference in our Martin County community.
The Garden Expo, our largest fundraiser, allows us to continue our long tradition of funding summer camp scholarships for local children in need to attend the Environmental Studies Center, the Florida Oceanographic Society and the Langford Park Summer Camp. We also create and present educational programs about growing fruit, vegetables and herbs and the importance of native plants and pollinator conservation to the Junior Master Gardeners and House of Hope clients. In addition, we donate to the Boys and Girls Club of MC, the local Boy Scout Troop, The House of Hope Gardens and other organizations in the area. In 2024, we proudly awarded our first college scholarship to a Jensen Beach High School senior. And this year, we are planning to give two scholarships!
As we celebrate over seven decades of service, we welcome new members to learn, grow, and give back to our coastal community. Join us on this botanical journey! Get all the details here:
