A Walk to Remember

On this week’s Treasure Coast Insider, Anna Valencia Tilery with White Glove Moving & Storage,  is joined by Peggy Cunningham. For the past 19 years, this organization has hosted this fundraiser. For those who want to give back, it will be held on Sat., Nov. 12th at 7:30am with walk commencing at 9am.  For many years, the Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Association of Indian River County has been helping families with active and educational programs to support them and family members dealing with these diseases. As always, these offerings are free and require funding locally to support the efforts. With a few weeks to spare, we ask you to become a walker. Perhaps, join a team and think of ways you can help fundraise. On this episode, we cover give back nights at local restaurants and percentage of sales from local retailers as a simple way that benefits the cause and a small business.
