6th Annual Derby Party
Don’t miss the “most exciting two minutes in sports,” Saturday, May 6th at Blue Star’s Annual Derby Party to benefit the Special Equestrians of the Treasure Coast. This ticketed affair, at just $75 each, will include a full derby inspired buffet, mint julep and entrance into two contests for those who are interested.
The first contest, just before the 6:30 race will be for derby hats 1st place$100 gift certificate to Blue Star with a bottle of rare Waphens Bourbon, 2nd Place a $75 gift card and 3rd Place $50 gift card all paired with a bottle of champagne from White Glove Moving & Storage. The second contest, after the race, will be for Best Derby Attire, one winner for the guys and one for the gals both of which will win a $100 gift card to Blue Star and a bottle of Waphens single barrel Kentucky bourbon. Celebrity judges for the event will include Ian Love, Mary Schenkel and Stacey Cook. In addition to good food and drink, Crooked Creek will be performing live having guests enjoy dancing and pictures with a pony to help raise awareness for the Special Equestrians ongoing classes, camps and offerings.
